The Start
The idea of mummy memoirs came about at the beginning of 2024 as a creative outlet to share ideas, review products and create a community of like-minded women. As a new mum, I felt that there was a lack of community for Muslim mothers and a general lack of information for new mums. So much of motherhood is learnt on-the-go and I thought it would be helpful to have a dedicated platform for Muslim mothers to access educational information and find that much-needed community. With this idea and the drive to create something purposeful, I designed this website and began writing.
The Vision
My vision for mummy memoirs is for it to be the go-to space for mothers to find support and journey of motherhood. The long-term goal is to offer accessible, culturally inclusive content in multiple languages.
